Win for Jérôme in NZ Enduro

Good Vibes in NZ Enduro

Multi stages race definitively suits Jérôme’s style of riding. By winning the 3 days course called the NZ Enduro, the semi-retired Jérôme has still some skills in his Pocket. Organised by Sven and Anka Martin, the « race » is more likely an adventure: riding along the turquoise water of the Marlborough sounds, enjoying an after-ride burger on Whitesbay beach, or having a helidrop to start day 3 are some of the highlight of this event.

But the course track is not as easy as it’s sounds, and as the racers may deal with sneaky roots, some long hike-a-bike in the transfers, and slippery muddy sections! Jérôme handles them perfectly and manages to ride fast to grab a first place in front of a strong local « kiwi » Samuel Shaw, and Joe Nation takes the third place in the podium.

Jérôme: « It’s the third times I entered NZ Enduro, and I never managed to win the race, so I really wanted to give it another shot! I am glad I’ve done my best and it pays off this times, I can check it off my bucket list now »
